Darienne Stiyer is a journalist, travel enthusiast and pub quiz champion. She likes finding the extraordinary stories in the everyday lives of ordinary people.

Her favorite journalists and storytellers include Lauren Collins (The New Yorker), Anthony Bourdain and Bill Buford. She is currently freelancing while also working as a barista in NYC.
